The Standard-Examiner in Ogden, Utah is looking for a full-time sports reporter, multimedia journalist for its changing sports department. The newsroom is looking for a hard-charging and self-motivated writer, photographer and videographer who can help coordinate the Standard-Examiner's newly invigorated high school sports coverage. Candidates ought to show an eagerness to interview athletes and coaches -- often while using some multimedia equipment -- and produce story packages on a deadline basis. The reporter will also cover a myriad of games and coordinate with the editor and several correspondents about scheduling and story assignments. Candidates should also display a presence on social media and be prepared to share their stories on a variety of platforms. An on-camera personality is a plus.
