There is a company which sells digital thermometers which forward their patient's temperatures to the company. The data is not personally identified, but it does give data on the fever numbers and spread of infections. This was previously used to monitor flu outbreaks, but the same tech also measures Covid outbreaks. The CEO was interviewed on NPR today. He says that the two fastest growing hotspots that they currently see are Oklahoma and Missouri. No way to localize any connection to the Tulsa rally.

Why isn’t the WH Task Force speaking to the public? Or meeting daily?

Local news station, owned by Hearst, did a feature with other Hearst stations around the country where a reporter stood outside a large supermarket to see how many customers who entered wore a mask. Market Basket in Attleboro, Mass. scored 100 percent. California was like 93, Florida was like 87 percent wore masks. The huge laggard was a store in Oklahoma City. 35 percent wore masks.

I’m surprised he made an attempt at mask-wearing. It’s against their religion.

Nothing is a surprise anymore. Doesn't matter where you live, just from the people turning in front of you, or running red lights, or any infinite number of inconsiderate acts, shows how many selfish fuckers inhabit the universe.

Good news, bad news, everyone. Good news: It is highly likely as many as 23 million Americans caught Covid. We may be closer to burning this thing out than we thought. Bad news: 23 million of us probably caught this which means this thing is spreading deeper than we first thought.

US coronavirus cases may be 10 times higher than data shows: Live

Also kind of confirms what we already knew: Our testing sucked hard and we've missed a bunch of cases.
