New cases last seven days - big statistical drop for a couple of days, offset by a following spike. Hard to tell where makeup call ends and legit spike begins. 258, 593, 519, 294, 215, 302, 642.

Seven day average percent positive. 7.72

Rt is up to 1.07.

 

This seems suboptimal.

 

I will say, one county in Northwest Arkansas topped 40% positive cases in the last 24 hours. That seems not good.

 

Florida dropped SIP on 5/4. Four weeks and four days ago, and the last four days their numbers have spiked. So I guess we start to look at 3-4 weeks incubation.

 

When you’re in an exponential growth mode, the numbers are small at first, but they gain rapidly.

 

They’ll begin cooking the books about three weeks out.

 

They have been, but if they're admitting to 1,000 + per day math will take that nonsense out of play quickly.

it will become the new mass shootings. There will be spikes, we’ll just throw up our hands, say thoughts and prayers, remind everyone it’s mostly old people and dumb fatties anyway, and move on to our next haircut.
