A couple of weeks ago, a Trumpist-owned race track in NC defied the unAmurrican governor and conducted its first klan rally of the season. Packed stands. No masks required. No social distancing required. A week later, it did it again.
In the week ending Sunday, May 25, the day after the first Trump rally on four wheels, the track's county registered 61 new positives of the Wuhan virus, which, as we know, does not exist. Last week, 86. So far this week, 94 with two days to go. (The county government, run by Trumpists, occasionally and mysteriously takes days off in reporting new results.)
The rate of increase is one of the highest in the state in recent weeks.

Am I just seeing what I want to see or didn't most protestors have masks on?

Lots of masks. A few even covered their noses and mouths.

In the request to reopen the casinos here, customers and dealers would have masks and players will not touch cards. Also, and this seems ridiculous, but new cards would be introduced each time there is a dealer change.

    Is splashing the pot allowed?

Media is going to change significantly from hereon. FNC and other places see they’re saving money remotely, so that, even when the ad dollars come all the way back, there’s incentive to stay on this track for a lot of workers.

Not just media. My son works for the MTA in New York. He's been told he's working from home until Labor Day at least. He's a team head in digital communications, so working remotely has disrupted their productivity not one bit. The three months of 12 hour days six days a week has been tough, however.

Unless a building is completely shut down, how does a company in the moment save so much money by WFH? Cleaning the bathrooms less frequently?

Disclaimer: I worked for Patch from 2010-12 and we pioneered digital news on a large scale without an office. Local coffee shops and restaurants were our offices, and AOL gave us generous food and expenses.

I don't understand the death rate. CDC said .26 percent at the end of May. Yet on worldometer, in cases with an outcome, 11 percent are deaths.
In less than four paragraphs, can someone explain that?

Uninformed stab at it? Much of the world does not have hospital quality treatment for non-elites. They make it or they don't.
