I just remember Cuomo being very surprised that so many new cases came from people who had not gone ANYWHERE. They simply caught it from family member that did go to work, etc.

 

With Arizona maxing out its ICU beds in June and cases rising amid triple-digit heat indices elsewhere ...

I think it’s safe to say that COVID is showing that it is NOT seasonal.

 

That and the Southern Hemisphere got hit too

 

At least the Arizona schools aren't in the SEC.
The interesting thing is in Georgia, where Gov. Trumpfluffer bragged about the brilliance of his early re-opening. So far in June, Georgia has the fifth-highest positive test rate of any state -- 8.6% vs about 5% for the rest of the country. Equally interesting is that the numbers have changed since the revelation of the book-cooking. The fourth such revelation, by the way.

Alabama's seven day rate of new infections has fallen significantly. That's the good news. The bad news is that the Rt is at 1.07, which argues that the trend down won't last.
