So effing lame. My sister my step sister's husband both got appointments, but when I called, they said teachers weren't eligible yet (both of them are teachers). So lame.

Test result back. Negative. Brother-in-law remains symptom-free. Sister and nephew/nieces will get tested again Friday.

Remarkable restraint. I would have reached for the taser after about 20 seconds of that bullshit.

Also, shoutout to the shittiest Kroger in Richmond, where this was filmed. The one on Lombardy, right next to VCU.

US total COVID hospitalizations rose week over week every day from late September to this week. Now they’ve dropped two days in a row.

Cases reported have dropped three days in a row.

I could always be wrong, but it sure looks to me like this is the mid-January tipping point I’ve been projecting all along. It should continue to get better from here.

New Year's Eve impact may not have hit yet. My employer, which includes a major medical center, told us yesterday that the peak will hit in a week to 10 days.

Hoping for that baseball Opening Day prediction stays true. Hedging for a "normalcy" by Mother's Day.

If there's "normal" by opening day of the NFL season, I'll be satisfied.

Agreed. Seems more realistic. I'll take a thaw for baseball opening day. Halfway there by July 4. Full reopening for the NFL on Sept. 8.
