And the British version is far superior to the tripe MTV is trying to put out.

A agree it was creepy that her parents let Thora Birch flash in American Beauty. Her mom is a porn star.

But I don't think it had anything to do with her lack of success since then.

I remember that one was much bigger than the other.

So, when does MTV premiere it's version of "Dr. Who-Who"?

The show will probably last a year or two, fritter out, and be lauded for its "honesty" or somesuch nonsense.

Obviously, MTV wants people to know it is "flirting with the law." It drives up viewership. The "concern" is a not-so-well-conceived ploy that fools only titillated libertines in search of "truth" in primordially-pumping bodies.

Shows like this are a terminal bore. They're not remotely dangerous to the establishment. The establishment loves shows like Skins - even if they hate them. The better to fill young adults' heads with utter nonsense while they get away with bloody murder.

Meanwhile, MTV uses "non-actors" from Canada - so as to avoid the production costs of an American cast - who prolly work for less than scale, will struggle to work in the industry after this, and will have to explain to their own kids one day what this mess was all about.

And morons like Jessica Bennett cheer for it.

Brit versions are usually better than American tripe. See The Office, Life on Mars and Coupling.

What are the odds MTV "filmed" the scene knowing full well it would never see the light of day, but WOULD give the show a ton of publicity?

Seeing as how it seems like they are the ones saying "Oh, this might be child porn we better stop," I'd say 100% this is a publicity stunt.

I am on my phone in a boring meeting so I can't look it up but can anyone confirm that Thora Birch actually flashed her breasts?

I remember the scene and it seemed to be that the way the window frame was placed meant that they could have stuck in a body double?

I believe Undressed introduced us to a young Christina Hendricks. And that's all I have.
That and I miss "The State"

Okay, I'm trying to get this without looking it up. Was she the "super sex" college dorm chick?

So if you live in a state where the age of consent is less than 18, you can legally have sex with, say, a 17-year-old, but if you have a picture of the same 17-year-old naked it's a violation of federal law.
