I'm not a prude either, but MTV is like a comedian who can't get a laugh without using the "F" word.

I'd be a lot more impressed if they came up with a program that wasn't built around sex.

Also, didn't they have some soap in the '90's that featured over sexed teenagers? Undressed?

This is a US remake of a British TV show. They don't get their knickers in a twist about this stuff over there.

It's a little different across the ocean. Cee-Lo Green doesn't have to change the lyrics of his recent hit single when he performs on TV there.

Some would say MTV did that years ago with some of its "reality" shows.

What were the shows a few years ago on MTV that were fictional dramas about college kids that was just a step away from soft porn? Three quarters of the show were characters making and petting one another, then cheating on each other. Anyone remember what I'm talking about?

Anyway, the way this show is described seems like that, only with high school age kids.

    Youngsters.

I remember when MTV played nothing but videos. No commercials, no crap. Just videos.

"Undressed" was the show. Seems like "Skins" goes one step further.

The scene in question is a naked dude running down the street. So basically, just ass. Hardly risque.

Didn't Thora Birch flash her cans when she was 16 in American Beauty?
How is that acceptable but this isn't? (besides Birch's parents being nuts)

Anyone at 16 (or parents of a 16-year-own) tempted to agree to a flash: see Thora Birch Career Post-American Beauty.

Makes Beavis and Butt-head look quaint, eh?

I can happily proclaim I haven't watched 15 minutes of MTV in 15 years.

    I want my MTV.

    To be fucking abolished.
