Seems to me there are a lot of ex-Boothies they threw out on the street they could consider...

    Just sayin'.

I can offer a little insight as to who left: This is the job vacated when Graham Couch left to go to the Lansing State Journal (to replace Joe Rexrode, now at the Free Press). It's one of the biggest beats at MLive, for sure.

    Good luck to everyone... :)

I interviewed for this, was optimistic. While I'm personally disappointed, it's a good hire for MLive.

Most SEC writers do, or I should say, a lot of them do.

Not sure whether to be flattered that I was even in the running against someone this qualified, or depressed that every job opening in the market these days seems to put me up against someone this qualified.
