Yeah, that's a real shame. I mean, there's just NOWHERE else on the internet you can go for political talk.

Luke Russert has really improved....doesn't come off as a befuddled college kid any more.

You think that's just a function of having gotten his feet wet, as it were, and finding his groove?

That, and maybe he's less worried about being Tim's heir. Probably got some good advice and coaching. Still needs a decent haircut.

  6. Yeah, but what sucks is, these are our people, you know? I mean, I understand why it has to be this way, but I have zero interest in discussing the news with the loonies at Daily Kos, TPM, etc., etc.

Well, as long as we're all here chatting, it just passed.

And most of the folks who talk politics here (and wannabeSportsJournalists.com) are what, exactly?

  10. The people here bring about 1/1,000th of the crazy as the partisan sites.

Plus, we snipe at each other there, then hop over to a thread to talk about our favorite movie or the latest Office episode or how much you should spend on Neftali Feliz in your fantasy baseball auction.

    Just a different vibe here.

    Horseshit.

The threads here are no different from any other non-wildly political site. Bunch of partisan dick-swinging. Though slightly less since Mr. "I'm willing to bet (many of) those (at SportsJournalists.com) debating it don't have a clue what's actually passing, either." and his gang left.
