    Thank god for birth control ... i had my ol' lady knocked up within a few weeks of her going off the pill. If it weren't for that stuff, she'd get pregnant everytime I walk by her.

    I'm that potent.

    That said, congrats Rockbottom. Kids are a lot of work, but they're also a lot of fun. Highlight of my day, every day, is when I come home, and whichever of my boys hears the door shut first, comes running out yelling "Daddeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

    Never gets old.

    Never will.

    Rockbottom: Congrats to you and the Missus. Way cool.

    The good news is that kids are an almost endless source of joy and adventure.

    The bad news is that the fucking's the easy part. It's raising the kids that's hard work.

    I miss those days.
    It's soon followed by "*** I need $$$$."
    Which is soon followed by e-mails or text messages that say the same thing.

    My wife bitched once about us having to deal with 4-5 events in a 2-day period. I told her to enjoy every second because they'd be over real soon and then we'd only have each other around the house.
    And poof they were gone. Taking my money with them.

    Enjoy the ride and that "goes by fast" stuff ain't no bullshit.

    You're all quite impressive but none of you beats my brother-in-law. God bless my sister, who lacks the filter between brain and mouth. When she called me to tell me she was pregnant, she blurted out "And on the first try!"

    Congrats RB.

    While all the other dads are trying to mold their kids into starting pitchers and quarterbacks, just remember deep snappers and bullpen catchers make very nice livings.
