Moving.

    It's an 8-hour drive and I'm trying to avoid it twice.

    All good suggestions, and I've done some searching of my own. Thanks for the advice.

    Hell, I just run out to the farm and borrow dad's pickup and 30-foot gooseneck trailer. Of course, you do have to wash out the trailer before you load up, but still ...

    I've moved for work - a lot.

    And the last two were done by movers. I don't care how much or how little I ever have again, I will NEVER load or unload a car, truck or trailer again.

    I've moved a ton, too. When we move in December, I'll pack boxes -- and that's it. I'm not loading/unloading shit. Period. End of discussion.
