Moving to DC ...

    Actually, there are parts of WVA that aren't more than an hour and a half away, and that's because of rush hour traffic. It's not uncommon for people around Charlestown and such to do that commute. Some people do sit in traffic for 3 or 4 hours a day to get to and from work, because they enjoy where they live. Of course the living is much cheaper out there too, but the cost of commuting negates anything you would save, and sometimes costs you more than it would to live in a small place in town.

    You can take the MARC commuter train from WV to DC...
