Moving back to the desk

I just accepted a job on a desk after being away from layout for close to a year. Any pointers on making the transition a little bit easier?

my advice, as someone who's been there, try not to critique every design.
focus on copy editing.
bad designs will eat you up ... but it just can't

 

Make deadline.

 

and don't make type errors (busted heds, bad cutlines, etc.)
