    Just seemed strange to me.

    We'd never write : "He had no hobbies. He was not a veteran. He had zero cats. His relatives suggest you not give money to his favorite charity-- which he didn't have."

    A sad day, as I grew up watching that show. However, the image you described just made me laugh out loud. Very funny stuff.

    About 10 years ago, Hemsley and Pat Morita were performing The Odd Couple at a theater about two towns over from where I live. I never got around to seeing it, but I always wish I had, especially now that they're both gone.
