   My first thought. And I am so with you. I can't ever get enough of that movie. I am the biggest cynic when it comes to corruption/power. I think our political system is a cesspool. And yet, that movie always leaves me feeling hopeful about America. It's as relevant today as it was 60 years ago.

   It's almost certainly the best thing Capra ever directed, because the subject and director were such a good fit.
