I feel like we're missing several from Sandler movies, maybe not though. I think in "Hitch" Kevin James and Will Smith were at a Knicks game, perhaps. Don't know for sure, only ever used that movie as background for sex.

Mets in "Men in Black," albeit very, very briefly.

I'm just gonna post these as they cross my mind while I watch the end of this Zona/ASU Rece Davis shitshow. My apologies for the repetitive posts in advance.

That's the one with Ray Milland he plays "King Kelly". I love when the catcher breaks his finger and they put splints on it and he tries to pick up the ball.

Most of mine so far are more like team "cameos," if anything. I guess they probably don't count for this exactly as the first post phrased. But, whatever. It's late. I can't sleep and there's nothing left to do on the Internet.

  6. Have we forgotten the White Sox in Field of Dreams?

And maybe the Mets as the bad guys in Rookie of the Year
Cleveland Browns in The Express based on Ernie Davis
    Philadelphia Phillies in Summer Catch

Are we allowed to count the "Miami" (Marlins) for that one, too? :D

Clearly this thread has gone off-track from its original intent of being movies revolving around a team, instead of some random shot/mention ...

So I might as well add this:

The American President ... "Seven trillion dollar communications system at my disposal, and I can't find out if the Packers won."

Robert Mitchum's "Friends of Eddie Coyle" has a long set piece in the old Boston Garden watching Bobby Orr play.
