mustang, Bedtime Stories is pretty good, too, in a cute/silly/funny way.

    Zohan made big money.

Spanglish (which I liked) could be considered a bomb. Reign over me did nothing at the box office.

Reign over Me was dull and forced.

When Sandler sticks to light comedy, he's almost automatic.

I loved Punch-Drunk Love and Spanglish was good, but audiences don't want to see him that way. It's the same thing to a lesser extent with Carrey, who is more talented than Sandler, but isn't smart enough to stick with what works.

I think if you're looking at pure percentage of hits vs. misses, Pitt should be up there.

Look at Orlando Bloom's average in 11 movies, though: $207 million gross per. Can't be too many, if any, whiffs in there.

    Yeah, surprised me, too.

That's true, but like Mizzou said, I don't think he's really carried his own big film yet.

Despite their box office success, the second two pirates films were mediocre at best.

    Hadn't seen what Mizzou said.

True point. But the guy is a movie star. He has been a featured player in just about everything he's done. Maybe not #1, but a mover in the picture in question.
