You're at the movie store, Wal-Mart or wherever ... the cheapo movie rack comes into view ... what movie do you see that you can't pass up?

Me? Tonight? At the video store ... walking out ... and what is sitting there in the $1.99 previously viewed DVDs for sale pile?

    Snakes on a Plane.

Heaven help me if I ever see Big Trouble in Little China in one of those bins.

Thing is ... I never even saw Snakes before ... still couldn't resist.

Got Airplane! last week at the Mart ... not sure why I didn't own it already.

It's there. At least I've seen it in Wal-Mart's $5 bin.

Waterworld is my answer. Or Young Guns. Or BASEketball.

I always thought that was a kind of underrated movie. Not great, but certainly fun.

    BASEketball is a great movie.

I bought "Manos: The Hands of Fate" but I was being ironic, I swear.

Ha! Me too. 2 for $10 along with Hard Candy.

As for Snakes, you will rue the $2 you spent. It could have bought a million more useful things.

Was it the MST2K version or the movie itself? That scares me that Manos was ever given its own release, though it is funny as hell.

Definitely underrated. Don't F with Lo Pan. He's bad news.
