Another big tornado south of Tuscaloosa now, although it's going to miss the city by a wide margin. And the main storm looks like it might keep trucking on to Gadsden. It's like this storm is determined to wipe every major city in Alabama off the map.

Damn. That Taco Casa's been there since the mid-70s. Former Bama and New York Jets defensive lineman Marty Lyons used to do commercials for them.

Mother nature getting even with the Bammers for killing her Barner trees, perhaps?

All bad joking aside, prayers for the folks in Bham and environs.

The one south of Tuscaloosa will probably have me liveblogging from the hall closet in about a half hour.

The new buzzword of the day is "debris ball."
Apparently a fast food cup from a Tuscaloosa restaurant has been found in Oxford, more than 100 miles away.

For those familiar with Tuscaloosa, you can stand in the mall parking lot and see Coleman Coliseum.

From the sound of it, they should turn up in a couple hours in Chattanooga. Debris is still falling ahead of the storm, which is holding together and reforming.
