Same principle as O-R: who should be given more credit than what they have been?

On the Tigers theme, Placido Polanco. Last year, when he hurt his shoulder, the Tigers floundered. And he went 0 for the Series.

Carlos Guillen hasn't exactly been a slouch since the Mariners couldn't wait to trade him, either.

How can Sizemore be underrated when he's on the cover of SI touted as one of the best players of his generation?

I'll be a Jays fanboy looser and throw out Alex Rios.

I voted for Chris Young, only in part because I still find myself having to say I am talking about the pitcher, not the outfielder.

His numbers this year are better than anybody in the National League not named Peavy or Penny...and he actually has a better ERA than his more famous teammate (2.09 to 2.14). He just has to learn to be more effecient with his pitches and go deeper in games.

Other: Prince Fielder. The best power hitter in the NL and he rarely gets attention from any national media outlets. Although he did have that big spread in SI a few weeks back... but still, he needs more love!!
