    No. It was sung as a folksy sort of tune for the opening credits of the film.

    Johnny Mandel used strictly instruments for the version used throughout the 11 years of the television series.

    I thought they played the song pretty prevalent throughout the movie.

    Still, I'd agree that most people recognize the song with the TV show than the movie.
