Most Over-rated baseball player today

I may be adding more (no more than 15 total) later on. This poll isn't saying one player sucks, but isn't as good as he is portrayed to be. My vote goes to Beltran. For that contract, the position and the city he plays in, all of his seasons should be more like last year's, not '05 or '07.

those of us in the know understand thatjeter is unerrated, if anything. arguing that he belongs on any overrated list is proof of that.

I like to think I'm in the know (I know, I know, it's funny, don't shatter my delusions of grandeur) and I think he's way the hell overrated.

I don't think J.D. "My Gunt Is Pulled" Drew has been overrated since about his third season in St. Louis. Execpt by dumb-as-fuck GMs who continue to throw money at a guy for 100 games a season. Braves got one good season out of him, but that's still a one-sided trade for St. Louis because of Wainwright alone.
