    As to the SI story, no wonder it was quickly forgotten. Check out the date on it.
    Is Tom Wilson still the owner/president of the Pistons/Shock?

    He's still in charge of Palace Entertainment, Inc., the parent company of both teams, but Dumars runs the Pistons, and Laimbeer pretty much runs the Shock. Wilson bombed when he was running the Pistons, and since then has mostly kept out of the basketball operations.
