    Nope. Former co-worker worked there -- and two other jobs as well.

    It's actually one of the better mountain papers in Colorado and you can live there... You just can't do anything else besides pay rent. Food is outrageous, drinks are more outrageous and it gets too damn cold in the winter to do anything.
    I've had several coworkers from mountain newspapers. If you don't really love skiing or boarding, they aren't for you.

    The Colorado Resort Town Three-Or-Three rule: To live above poverty it takes three jobs or three roommates.

    They have no sports editor, just a couple of writers. I have heard that this is the No. 2 sports writer position. Plus your about three hours from Denver (in good weather). Cheapest rent is toward Craig (50 minutes away).

    Don't know much about the paper, but the town is in the middle of nowhere. However, if you're looking to get lost for a year or so, this would be the place.

    And you'd have ever so much fun commuting to Steamboat and back during winter.
