    Exactly. It didn't say, and if the kid's only been here a month (if the mom is to be believed), it's very likely he hasn't gone to school.

    That being said, even if you have no health insurance, there are plenty of clinics and hospitals which will help a child in this condition. The mom, after having squeezed out THAT many kids, has no excuse to not know that.
