More proof that Hollywood, and The CW in particular, is completely out of ideas

The CW is recycling Melrose Place.

Starring Ashlee Simpson and possibly Mischa Barton.

This pic beats out both facepalm.gif and impliedfacepalm.jpg for appropriateness:

I saw this earlier, and thought we'd discussed it previously here, so I searched for Melrose Place...but saw nothing. didn't start a thread.

    You're a looser!

Hey, if it gets Courtney Thorne-Smith back, I'd consider watching it.

I think previously discussed was the CW's 90210 revival, of which this appears to be a copycat.

Right, but I thought this was mentioned on that thread.

Ran a search for the phrase "Melrose Place" before I posted but nothing showed regarding a remake.

What's the O/U on number of episodes before Heather Locklear shows up as Amanda?

Hence my "ran a search, didn't see anything, didn't start a thread."

I'm sure she's very busy with a number of exciting projects.

Am I misremembering it, or was she a little bit expired when Melrose even started?

Guess Citizen Kane is safe as the best tv show or movie never to spin something off, have a remake or do a sequel. Melrose Place is a three-time loser on that measure.
