Personally, I'd take this accountant, string him up by the balls, and use him as a damn punching bag. But that's just me.

    Have at it.

That's disgusting, but I think it's funny that the blogger thinks replacing "Cathy" with "Get Fuzzy" could be part of the budget cuts.

    Get Fuzzy rocks.

I thought the Cathy strip lost it years ago.

Not that this matters a lot in the big picture here.

It's Lean Dean. Nothing involving any of his "papers" surprises me.

Hey, Lean Dean's got the Minneapolis paper on the hook to cover a bunch of lawyer's fees, so maybe he can pick up the Merc News boo-boo with that cash:

"Our legal fees and expert costs have approached $5 million thus far," Singleton added. "We had three attorneys and they had seven. I assume their fees were higher than ours."

Not to thread jack on this important matter, but as a comics guy, I have to say: I don't get probably 40 percent of Get Fuzzy strips.

Must be a generational thing, perhaps.

Must be, SF. I don't like Get Fuzzy, either. And I don't say, ``(Fill in blank) rocks.'' There you have it.

The only way I would read Cathy nowdays is if they knocked off about 40 pounds and gave her bigger boobs.

Cathy's one of the few I can skip without wondering if I missed something.
