More layoffs at NO Times Picayune last week

    Jim Kleinpeter out after 33 years. Also laid off an assistant sports editor John Roach. Third round of layoffs since 2012.

    What chain are they in? Another veteran axed in Kleinpeter? Man, they make no secret of the fact they don't care about the individual bylines. The suits think anybody can get clicks in this age of pageview mania.
