    If you read Cronkite's book, "A Reporter's Life," he goes into a lot of detail about following baseball games on the side of a building as a child -- I believe it was the Kansas City Star's building, but can't be positive. They'd light up lights to correspond with the bases, kind of a giant play-by-play graphic. It's relatively early in the book, but would describe the scene as well as anything you'd find ...
