Every time this thread gets updated, I am hopeful it's a tweet from Linda Cohn saying she is no longer there.

I don't watch get up, but I do see espn.com and by the looks of it, the powers that be decided that Get Up needs some Stephen A. Smith to give the show a boost.

    Awesome.

    I watched Get Up once.
I got up, watched Get Up for 1 minute, and went back to bed.

Money aside, doesn't Greenberg have to wonder what the heck he's gotten into? Or is he just so espn-ized that it's just the same crap on a different set? Probably the latter.

Randomly going through channels when I got home from work. Stopped on Supper time Sportscenter for the first time in years. Keith Olberman.
I like him. He’s fun. And if I’m going to be patronized and condescended to, I want it to be from someone I respect.

Clay Travis and this guy hopeful more to come:

  8. I feel just the opposite. I don't watch ESPN much anymore unless its game coverage. But I thin Linda is terrific.

Huh. Gloating over people losing their jobs. And yet I can't find where the guy actually holds one. Claims to have been on a panel seven years ago and has finance degrees from Villanova. No website, no LinkedIn page. Good for him. Awesome if he lurks here.

Awful Announcing is pretty heads up on major layoffs. Nothing right now on their pages.

He's a random guy on Twitter. The third guy in line at the hot dog stand.

the Clay Travis story says well, maybe there will be layoffs.

here’s Patrick Donovan getting roasted at the Sloan appearance he’s bragging about. The major pick he touts was very wrong.
