What are the odds The Athletic could acquire The Undefeated?

Well, they'd have to change the name of the thing for sure. :(

The Undefeated’s mission is too broad and too many of its stories are more like PR tracts than journalism. Aretha Franklin being a lifelong boxing fan and the top 10 most affordable HBCUs are the two top stories on my phone.

Same, except I DVRed and zipped through PTI most days. As that show has substitute hosts more often for one or both curmudgeons, I just zap that day's show as it starts. Live events it is, and fewer in some cases.

It's not merely hot takes. It's that, on some level, most of the panelists are riffing on the same hot take.

Switch to FS1..."Skip Bayless has never lost a debate on Undisputed" All of the hot takes have become incredibly stale, not only because it's lame to begin with, but it seems to have boiled down to after every good game for each...well Aaron Rodgers will never be as good as Brady; and in NBA LBJ will never be as good as Michael Jordan and about two argue for A-Rod and LBJ....ON EVERY SHOW

So that means Shannon Sharpe has never won a debate?

The viewers are on a three year losing streak watching that show.
