    This is what you get from Paxton these days: A guy who has been a news columnist writing a season football preview for a conference. The lead-in isn't exactly packed with insights about the league. It's more like he thought he was writing a column. Oh, and East Chapel Hill High is not in Durham:

    That's what happens when your staff falls down to the SE and two full-timers ... they haven't hired the replacement for full-timer No. 3 yet ...
     
  3. Wow, that was a strange lead. And not only is East Chapel Hill not in Durham -- neither is Roxboro Person. It was supposed to be a conference preview, not a Durham preview, I think.

    A lot of news folks are more than capable of covering sports.

    Some of us bailed because of the crappy hours and crazy workload.
