Moddy Goes To The Movies

I have not been to the movies since... 1998. There, I said it.

Hammer away.

 

I was going to ask if you brought the rain coat, but I guess Hairspray would be the wrong movie.

 

I love going to the movies. But it's especially good when we steer away from the metroplexes and hit one of the old theaters in the area. That's still the best. There's even one nearby that has the organist playing live before the movie, and the owner coming down front to thank the audience for visiting.

And Moddy ... here it is, the reason Justin Timberlake is OK with me.

 

Haven't been to the movies since There's Something About Mary (much to the wife's dismay) and can't believe how expensiev they are.

Used to love the drive in before they all got paved over for subdivisions and big-box stores. Those dusk-to-dawn triple bills were awesome: a case of beer and bucket of KFC and you were all set.

Sigh....those were the days.

 

Huggy, my man. You're not going to see my movie ???

This is why we haven't bought our seasons' tickets yet.
