    Connolly finally gets what was coming to him. Only 40 years, but at his age, he'll be in for the rest of his life.

    Isn't "The Departed" mainly a remake of a Taiwanese movie from earlier in the decade? The plot definitely is. It's possible the Matt Damon character was based on this guy, however.

    It is a remake, but like Pern, I think that the Nicholson character was tweaked to resemble Bulger.
