If the discussion is "you have a huge game tomorrow and get to pick a current MLB pitcher to start" I think a good faith argument can be made for Greinke. Poz's column was not "who has had the best career" or "who will have the best career" or "who plays in NY, since nothing matters west of Niagara Falls."

Still...I'll take Lincecum (sp) over Grienke.

One game right now I still take Halladay over anybody...and then Santana....and then Lincecum.

I would go Santana, Lincecum, Halladay and then Greinke.

Yep. Greinke is one of the top pitchers. Too bad he has to toil on a shit team that teased its fans for the first 30 games this season.

But I'd pencil Lincecum in to start "the game you need to win."

Granted, neither has been in that "game you need to win," so who knows how good either would be in that nut-buster situation.

spnited's choosing Halladay and Santana over Lincecum or Greinke is a solid choice, too.

Right now I'd go Lincecum, Santana, Halladay, Greinke.

Wright should not be higher. His numbers are deceiving when you watch him day in and day out. At this point I wouild take Jason Werth over Beltran.

Hanley Ramirez at No. 3 is also way off.

Really? Who do you want higher?

    A-Rod for sure.

Maybe Teixeira, maybe Utley, maybe Morneau.
