MLBPA: Teams conspired against Bonds

Not saying he doesn't deserve some of the animosity and skepticism leveled in this thread, but I'm a bit concerned that a group of journalists has seemingly no interest in what "evidence" his agent claims to have to support the charge.

Personally, I'm curious to know if some dumbass executive was stupid enough to put fingers to keyboard and type something up about blackballing Bonds or something to that effect.

I wouldn't be surprised if 30 teams passed on him for any of the reasons mentioned earlier in the thread. I also wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they decided they didn't want him to continue to bring negative publicity and collectively decided to lock him out of the game.

Would any of the execs have been dumb enough to talk about Bonds with execs from other teams? On a serious note, I'm legitimately interested to see what the "evidence" is.

yeah, that poor sonuvabitch. he deserves a break.

  4. This typical MLBPA bulspit. Bonds was discussed internally by a number of NL teams but they all concluded he could no longer play defense and the off field distractions weren't worth it.
