    Re: Felix

He can thank McClaren's decision to yank him after 98 pitches and eight innings (with a 3-1) lead at Baltimore earlier in the season for tonight's extended stay.

Bullpen coughed up lead and game. Bet that stuck in McClaren's mem bank.

He has been phenomenal this season. 1.47 ERA. Finished last April with a sub-2.00 ERA also; gunning to become the xxth (its a small number) player in MLB history to have back-to-back sub-2.00 ERA Aprils.

Eh, Ortiz isn't having a great season. I'll just leave it at that. Captain Obvious to the rescue, I know. But it has to be his knee that's bothering him, he talked about his mechanics, but his swing looks relatively fluid.

It'd be nice to see the Royals get the one key hit to blow a fucking inning open, but right now, it's not making no nevermind.

Meet Joakim Soria, he of the five saves.

    Seventeen wins is still reachable.

For the rest of his career? Maybe.

This season? Not a chance in hell.

The Giants are terrible, and Zito might be worse.

Barry Zito is to losses what Carlos Gomez is to stolen bases.

Maybe he meant the Giants will win 17 games.
