A.J. Burnett coming in to pitch the 14th. Who wants to bet he blows out his elbow doing this?

How about that Yankees pitching? Getting ready to push the Bronx Bombers to third place this year.

David Ortiz continues a stellar season. 1 for 5, lowering his batting average to .171.

Unfortunately, the Sox pitching tonight was just as terrible.

Yeah, but the Sox have better pitching overall. The only way it will be worse is if Beckett has injury/blister problems.

Oh, and Rumple, I understand your point about Ortiz continuing to struggle, but he actually raised his average tonight.

Troy Tulowitzki just hit a two-run double, his first two RBI of the season. Man, has he been awful so far.

Also of note from the late games, Felix Hernandez got to stay in even though he had thrown 108 pitches through eight innings tonight for the Mariners. Responds by retiring the side on seven pitches in the ninth for the complete gamevictory over Oakland.

Don't you have anything positive to say? He's trying just as hard as everyone else, OOP.
