    The Royals also have more wins than the Cardinals. Holy krap, will Kansas City rough up the Cardinals this year?

    Nice road trip by Kansas City, and what a wild 12th inning today. Runners at second and third, one out in the 12th, KC up 6-5, two strikes on King Whiff, Angel Berroa, and he executes a perfect suicide squeeze. Two batters later, relief pitcher Joel Peralta hits a two-run double. He said after the game that he was so excited hitting the ball that he almost forgot to run.
