Bob Costas declared them the "team of the 90s" upon the last out of the '95 World Series, perhaps not realizing 1996-99 (and the Braves' biggest gag jobs) were yet to come.

TBS sends Dish Network an outrageous demand on its contractual offer, Dish says FU and TBS pulls its connection, just as Fox Sports has done.

    NLDS
    Phillies sweep Reds
    Cincy's in over its head.

    Giants over Braves in 4
Atlanta barely has enough healthy players to field a team.

    ALDS
    Yankees over Twins in 5
Not sold on the Yanks, but they'll beat Twinks from memory.

    Rays over Rangers in 4
October is never a good month for baseball in Texas.

    NLCS
    Phillies in 6
SF's pitching good for a couple of wins, but they don't have the bats to beat Philly four times.

    ALCS
    Rays in 5
Yankees' pitching is in disarray, especially if they need CC to beat Minny in a fifth game.

    WS
    Rays in 7
I have no logical reason for making this pick, just a gut feeling. Tampa's been pretty darn good the past 3 seasons and I just think it's their year.

Phillies in 4. Think the Reds will find a way to beat Oswalt again.
Braves in 5. Atlanta has been playing with all kinds of pressure for a month and a half. Now, no one expects them to do anything. I think it'll help.

Phillies over Braves in 5. Braves find a way to win one, but don't come close in the other four.

Rays in 4. Talented and experienced.
Twins in 5. Really, I'm just rooting for a snowy ALCS.

Rays over Twins in 6. Simple. Rays are the best team in the AL.

World Series: Rays in 7. Honestly, I just don't want to see the Phillies win another World Series.

Twinks over the Yanks in five. I don't think this will happen.. but I really, really want it to.

    NLCS

    ALCS

I was going to post that as a Phillies fan, the team that scares me the most is ... the Phillies. Then I saw the Donnellon column that just moved on the wire. He's got it nailed:

I do want to see the Rangers to make the Series.
I've followed them somewhat softly since the 70s, when we made a family vacation trip out through Dallas and Arlington.
They've never won a playoff series, period, so that'd be fine to just see them do that.

What are your predictions of Halladay in the playoffs?

    -Dominate
-Pitches well enough to get the win
    -Struggles?
