I have no logical reason for making this pick, just a gut feeling. Tampa's been pretty darn good the past 3 seasons and I just think it's their year.

Rays in 4. Talented and experienced.
Twins in 5. Really, I'm just rooting for a snowy ALCS.

Rays over Twins in 6. Simple. Rays are the best team in the AL.

World Series: Rays in 7. Honestly, I just don't want to see the Phillies win another World Series.

I was going to post that as a Phillies fan, the team that scares me the most is ... the Phillies. Then I saw the Donnellon column that just moved on the wire. He's got it nailed:

 

I do want to see the Rangers to make the Series.
I've followed them somewhat softly since the 70s, when we made a family vacation trip out through Dallas and Arlington.
They've never won a playoff series, period, so that'd be fine to just see them do that.

 

What are your predictions of Halladay in the playoffs?
