DirecTV definitely will have it on channel 213.

My guess is it'll be mostly baseball-related.

    That's just a guess though.

You just don't understand, BYH. Somebody's gotta keep Hazel Mae in Manolos.

I the the channel's worth 5 bucks a day simply for Mae. She's incredible.

They're going to have permanent cameras in each stadium, so they can do live look-ins throughout the night, wherever they want. That's pretty cool. I wish they were going to show more games, but that's not a bad start.

NBA TV, NHL Network and NFL Network show games, so I'm sure MLB Network eventually will as well.

    And apparently Dish ... won't.

buckdub: MLB Network's homepage has a channel locator by ZIP code.

I believe I've heard that MLB Network will have a Saturday-night package, but don't quote me because I'm not certain.

They're going to show Ken Burns' Baseball at some point, too. :)

That would be ... Thursday. Curtain goes up at 6 p.m.

Ken Burns' Baseball will be shown on Tuesdays. :)

I think it was part of the Extra Innings deal. DirecTV and many cable outlets signed up to continue offering EI and carrying MLB Network was part of the deal. Dish declined to sign the EI deal, thus won't get MLB Network.
