    Girardi is not going anywhere this year...and maybe even next year.
    Willie should have been gone by now, but he'll manage to survive another underachievng year before they kick him out.

    Washington and Yost should thank God every night they still have jobs.

    Let's see, the "stomp-off" in Pittsburgh came after they took the payroll below $12 million and were selling off good-but-not great players like Jay Bell and Jeff King.

    The "stomp-off" in Florida came when he stayed and lost 105 games after they sold off every player from the WS team.

    The "stomp-off" in Colorado came when he realized he was burned out and 2,500 miles from home with no interest in managing.

    If there's anything there that's relevant to the Tigers having a bad six weeks to start the '08 season, I'm not seeing it.
