mlb.com question

    Anyone know if the mlb.com people get paid for providing notes to Sporting News, or is that just considered another part of the job?

    It depends on your definition of "mlb.com people." If you mean the writers... no. I'm not sure of what the arrangement is with SN and the higher-ups, but all I know is that the writers are asked to write extended notes once a week for Sporting News.
