Walk and a double to start the eighth.

Good. Fucker completely shit the bed for the Braves last year and I'll never forgive him.

Sorry, saw this thread & turned it one to watch it live. Saw walk, double. Does he have anything tonight? Anyone think Texas wins this game?

Fitting that a guy wearing No. 42 would drive in the winning runs on Jackie Robinson Day.

    (Yes, blue font).

The Dodgers called up Breyvic Valera to take Logan Forsythe's spot on the roster. Valera pinch hit and stayed in the game today. If he never plays in another MLB game, would he supplant Mariano Rivera as the last guy to wear No. 42?

There are a lot of really crappy teams in the game just two weeks in. Not good. Who the hell is going to spend the next 22 weeks watching the Cincinnati Reds?

Damn, when you're as old as me, you root for anyone, especially the guy a decade young than you, to finish the no-hitter/perfecto. Great to watch though. Love those 1-0 games, Colon v. Verlander was the essence of baseball IMHO; doesn't get better than that.

If Colon hadn't stuck it up the Braves' ass the entire time he was with the Mets and then come to Atlanta and pitched like Arnold Rothstein's bag man had put $5,000 under his pillow, maybe I'd root for him.
