That the orioles suck is a small salve of karma for the Nats fans. Who are beholden to orioles ownership for their tv rights money. MASN fucks the Nats, intentionally, by the Angelos regime. I look forward to reading Peter Angelos’ obit, dementia and incontinence if there’s a deity with a sense of humor and justice.

Royals also 100+. Yanks and Redsox 10-3 vs KC. KC a respectable 36-39 in the ALW for a 100 loss team.

Dependent is a strong word when it comes to RBI. I’m sure there is a metric for percent of baserunners driven in. Some players don’t have opportunity to drive in lots of runs because, team dependent, there aren’t a lot of runner on base when they get an PA.
But Mookie Betts has only left 20 runners scoring position after a PA, Mike Trout 26.

Rhys Hoskins has a respectable 95 RBI on the season but has left 52 in scoring position. Tied for 82nd in baseball.

    12-7 is a great record?

12-7 is a .631 winning parentage and over a 162 game season translates to 102 wins.

Giants and Nationals rolling over and playing dead.

Yeah Giants are done with this season. I don't blame them but they could at least give a half of a damn against the Dodgers.

At least they actually have a couple of hits and at this rate the Dodgers are going to have to burn a pitcher before heading into the wild card (fingers crossed. Go Rockies!)

Update: Khris Davis went 0-for-2 today before being lifted for a pinch-hitter.

He finishes with a .247 batting average for the fourth straight season.

Who was it that reported this a few months ago and Scioscia called him a liar?

    Mauer to retire

They let him catch one pitch in the 9th.

With Utley done and if Beltre, Sabathia and Ichiro are done after this season, holy hell that's quite a group

But against one of the worst teams, if you're a 100-win team, you should be better than 12-7.
