According to STATS, Inc., the Mariners are the first team in the live-ball era (since 1920) to have its first four batters of a game hit for the cycle in reverse order.

Seattle hits for cycle vs. Justin Verlander

On the same night that the 2016 AL MVP hit for the cycle ...

Good for you, you were the first I knew on the Betts train, and I thought he'd basically be a one year wonder.

The Red Sox would still take Trout over Betts.

And yet I went against my instincts this year and drafted Stanton instead of Betts. I don't know why.

Betts has been great. He's almost the most important mookie in Red Sox history.

Yeah, but it's a shitload closer than I thought it would be two years ago. Betts is fantastic.

DID YOU KNOW - Trout has never hit a hr in fenway

They only chose Biff Pocoroba in '76 for the name.

I thought '78 should have been Mike Paxton because it looks like they had to paint or draw him on the card.

Minor leagues, but neat nonetheless. A classic three-run, walk-off strikeout.

They should have used this Bob Uecker card for 1965. He's batting left-handed (Uecker was a righty).

This card so inspired a young Steak Snabler that he did the same thing for his junior varsity baseball photo in 1988.
