    Mike Matheny out as Cardinals manager. It's about time. I care nothing about the National League, but that place seems to be lacking leadership.

    Firing a manager midseason is not the Cardinal Way. Hasn't happened since Joe Torre in 1995.

    Isn't the La Russa the only guy since then (besides Matheny)?

    As someone who very much dislikes the Cardinals, I'm sad to see Matheny go.

    They definitely could have done without the story of Rob Reiner getting a boner after the Kirk Gibson home run. Jesus christ.

    It always amazes me how the Little Leaguers on the field never end up banging heads chasing those fly balls. Always seems to be a disaster waiting to happen.

    If it was work on your inside-out swing or beat the shift to the left side Freddie Freeman would be dominating.
