    You're right. Either Tim Kurkjian lied or I misunderstood.

    Maybe he said Tylers to start a game. Or he may have said this century. Tyler Green appeared in the majors in 1993, along with Ty Van Burkleo. Tyler Houston was the only other pre-2000 Tyler.

    Not to pile on because I love you, man, but that would be wrong, too. Tyler Clippard used to be a starter. Started that game in Seattle. Struck out Richie Sexson with the bases loaded and seemed thrilled that I remembered it when I talked to him six years later.

    2008 would still be within the last decade, meaning within the last 10 years. Not the 2010s.

    Well, not really. 2008-17 is 10 years. 2018 is the start of the next 10 years. But my guess is the meaning was the OOs, the 10s, etc.
    I could also be wrong.
