    Scioscia has been with Angels for 15 seasons, since 2000. Maddon came from his staff.

    Still, your point is valid. There's not a lot of experience. There used to always be a handful of veteran managers, but that's not the case any more.

    Other than Collins, Hurdle and Bochy, all the NL guys are on their first managerial job.
